Class Format
Open Classes are conducted virtually via Google Meet and are designed to be accessible, focused, and adaptable for a variety of training backgrounds.
Attire
Open Classes welcome a relaxed dress code. Dancers may wear any attire that allows for comfortable movement, personal expression, and clear participation.
Space & Safety Expectations
Dancers must work in an open, clear, and safe space free of obstacles.
Flooring should be appropriate for dance movement; hard or marley-style floors are recommended, and carpeted surfaces may limit certain exercises.
For effective instruction, dancers should be visible when possible, and camera placement should allow safe observation of movement.
Policies
Due to the drop-in nature of Open Classes, all purchases are final. Missed classes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Open Class Dance Cards allow dancers to pick and choose which Open Classes they wish to attend, based on the posted schedule and availability. Each Dance Card is valid for one (1) full calendar year from the date of purchase.
Once a dancer registers for an Open Class, that class counts toward the Dance Card, whether or not the dancer attends.
Classes may not be recorded or shared by participants. Any recordings provided by DMC Dance Co are for personal reference only and may not be redistributed.
Families are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and setting up their devices appropriately before class.
DMC Dance Co maintains a respectful, focused learning environment. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from class without refund.
Participation in Open Classes indicates acknowledgment and acceptance of these policies.
