Training is the shared foundation of everything we do.

Whether you're taking your very first ballet class, preparing for a performance, returning to dance after time away, or continuing your artistic journey, every dancer begins in the same place: the studio.

Our Training program brings together the educational philosophy of DMC Dance Co. and the artistic vision of Studio DMC, offering flexible drop-in classes for dancers of different ages and experience levels.

No audition. No application. No long-term commitment.

Studio Open

Presented by Studio DMC

For dancers ages 12+ with previous dance experience.

Studio Open is where experienced dancers step into the technical environment that supports Studio DMC's cinematic productions. Classes emphasize strong technique, healthy movement, conditioning, artistry, and consistency while training alongside members of the Studio DMC Company.

Rather than following a fixed curriculum, Studio Open evolves alongside each Company Volume. Depending on the season, classes may include:

• Ballet

• Contemporary

• Jazz

• Floor Work

• Conditioning

• Improvisation

• Guest Artists

• Special Workshops

Each month's schedule is announced in advance, allowing dancers to choose the sessions that inspire them most.

Tuition

• Single Session — $25

• 4-Class Pass — $85

• 8-Class Pass — $150

No audition required.

Prior dance experience recommended.

Jr. Open

Presented by DMC Dance Co.

For dancers ages 7–11.

Jr. Open introduces young dancers to thoughtful training in a welcoming, encouraging environment. Every class is designed to build confidence, coordination, creativity, and strong technical foundations while making movement joyful and accessible.

Like Studio Open, each season offers something new. Classes may include:

• Ballet

• Jazz

• Contemporary

• Creative Movement

• Conditioning

• Musicality

• Guest Artists

• Specialty Workshops

Whether it's a dancer's very first class or additional training alongside another program, Jr. Open provides a place to learn, explore, and grow.

Older beginners (12+) are also welcome.

Workshops

Throughout the year, DMC Dance Co. and Studio DMC may host specialty workshops led by guest artists or centered around a particular movement style, creative process, or artistic theme.

Workshop topics, instructors, and age recommendations are announced throughout the season.
